BCO-CDF – COMBINED COMPRESSION AND BEDDING TEST MACHINE

BESMAK® BCO-CDF Series Combined Compression and Bending Test Machines integrate a high-capacity concrete compression tester with a flexural (bending) test unit in one frame. This servo-hydraulic system consists of a four-column main compression frame (for standard cube and cylinder tests) and a side-mounted flexural test assembly for beams, slabs, or other specimens. A separate control unit manages both the compression and bending test operations. With this combined machine, laboratories can perform both compressive strength tests and 3-point or 4-point flexural strength tests on concrete using a single, efficient setup. It’s designed to meet all applicable standards for concrete compression and flexure, making it a versatile solution for comprehensive concrete mechanical testing.

  • Accuracy Class 0.5 per EN ISO 7500-1 for both compression and bending measurement ranges.
  • Dual capacity design: Compression side up to 3000 kN and Flexural side up to 300 kN (other capacity configurations available on request).
  • Equipped for performing standardized strain measurements during compression tests (complies with EN 12390-4 strain loading requirements).
  • Compression loading range: 0–3000 kN (Class 0,5 accuracy from 60 kN to 3000 kN).

  • Capable of performing static modulus of elasticity (deformation under load) tests on concrete, as well as other advanced tests, with the addition of displacement transducers or strain gauges.
  • Supports testing to EN 12390 (concrete compressive strength), EN 1339 (concrete slab bending), EN 1340 (kerb bending), and ASTM C39 standards for hardened concrete.
