The automatic Marshall compactor is used to produce Marshall specimens from hot mix asphalt. The machine features a rotating mold mechanism and a hammer with a beveled foot, which together produce a kneading action during specimen compaction. Its automatic counter allows the operator to preset the desired number of blows and automatically stops the machine when the count is reached.

The unit includes a compression pedestal and is manufactured in compliance with BS EN 598 and EN 12697-30 safety standards. The hammer has a weight of 4.53 kg and falls freely from a height of 457 mm to ensure proper compaction. The unit is fully compliant with current standards.
