The test determines the presence of injurious organic compounds in sands used for cement mortar or concrete. It serves as a preliminary warning test, indicating whether further testing of the sand is required before it can be approved for use.
The set is supplied with a Color Standard Chart and two graduated bottles.
Sodium hydroxide is available as an optional item.
